Candidates

Do you want to stand up for your local community and the interests of local residents?

There are numerous opportunities to stand as a Conservative Candidate in Warwick and Leamington.

Local Councillor

Becoming a councillor is an extremely rewarding experience.

It gives you the opportunity to help your local community and be part of a dedicated team providing key services for your area. Being a councillor is a great way to gain political experience and useful skills in public speaking, debating and problem-solving.

If you are thinking about standing for your local council and want more information, please let us know. We can put you in touch with our members who are already Councillors and can give you advice about, and insight into, the role.

For more information about becoming a Councillor, take a look at the following resources:

  • 'Be a Councillor' Project
  • Guide to Becoming a Conservative Councillor.

Once elected, you can find help and support from both the Local Government Association and the Conservative Councillors Association.

Please check back later for other opportunities. Details will be added when available.
