  • Our Constituency

Our former MP, Chris White, gained the seat from Labour in the 2010 General Election and held it for 7 years until the 2017 General Election.

You can find out more about Jack Rankin, who was our Parliamentary Candidate for the 2019 General Election, by clicking here.

The constituency was first created in 1885. It was later represented by former Prime Minister Sir Anthony Eden between 1923 and 1957.
